Louth GAA in partnership with our community partner Dundalk Credit Union and the Louth Local Development Committee and in association with the North East Regional Drugs Task Force are launching the “Louth Peer Education Programme” next Tuesday evening (18th June) at 7.00 in the Louth GAA Centre of Excellence, Darver.
This innovative programme will cover all Post Primary schools within the county and will deliver a comprehensive peer-to-peer substance use education programme to young people commencing in October 2019. The Louth Peer Education Programme will empower young people to be more informed about the harmful effects of substance use and will enhance their ability to make informed and healthy choices. The programme will cover several related topics including self-esteem, peer pressure, smoking, alcohol, drug information and education.
All clubs are invited to attend same.
