Meath dominated the rest of the half scoring 5 more points. Half-time score was Louth 1-05, Meath 0-06. Meath started the second half brightly with substitute, Ben Hoey making an immediate impact with 2 points. Louth responded with an excellently taken goal by the dangerous Dean Maguire.
