There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne’s Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 2nd May. The winning numbers were 9, 11, 14, & 21. There were 2 match 3 winners Richard McGeogh, Castle Lane and Niamh, Rachel, Megan, Katleeyn & Aoibhin c/o Mary who won €75. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member. Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.
Naomh Fionnbarra Junior team were beaten twice this week. On Tuesday the lads were beaten by St. Mochtas 3-11(20) to 3-7(16) and on Saturday the lads lost to Dundalk Young Irelands on a scoreline of 0-12(12) to 0-11(11) hard luck lads.

Not to be outdone by her younger sister, there was a great write up on Deirbhile Osbourne ahead of her representing Louth on Monday in their Division 4 league final. An accident could has seen her retire from football long before her time but a strong recovery has lead her to return to club & county. Deirbhile who represents both with great pride has every trait of a great ladies football player and has excelled at team captain this year.
What is Féile?
Féile Peile is a national festival of Gaelic football for Boys & Girls under 14 years of age. it takes place on the last weekend of June (Fri Jun 29th – Sun Jul 1st) and in 2018 it is being hosted in countiesLouth/Meath & Down. Féile provides an opportunity for our under 14 players to participate in an annual Festival Gaelic Football.
Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire have entered our boys U14 team, this means that we have agreed to host a visiting team, accommodating 24 players in family homes and 2 mentors between the Togher and Dunleer area. We now know we have a team coming for Co. Antrim and we are in a group with St. Josephs GFC, Co. Louth. The Under 14 team are training every Monday evening in preparation and their U14 league has started. They have moved up to division 2 this year.
Teams play two games on Friday afternoon/evening. Host Club plays their visiting team on the Saturday Morning on Club Pitch. Saturday afternoon Top two teams in Group play in Cup Quarter Final / Bottom two teams in Group play in Shield Quarter Final.
Saturday evening we will provide some form of hospitality for own players/mentors/families and visiting players/mentors/families.
Sunday: Visiting teams depart from clubhouse either for home or play if qualified.
We had a table quiz fundraiser recently and it was a great success. We would like to thank everyone that came out on the night to support the fundraiser. Extra tables had to be brought out on the night!!! We would like to thank IFM and Togher.info for sponsoring us.
