Championship: Well it’s time to get the flags and bunting out as we are in the intermediate championship final on Sunday 8th of October with time and venue to be confirmed. The team had a hard fought victory last Friday night in Dromiskin against our neighbours Naomh Fionnbarra. The margin of victory was five points and could have been a lot more had we taken our chances at the start of the second half, but the lads got there in the end. Championship finals don’t grow on trees so this is a very big day for the club, members, supporters and the whole community. So let’s all pull together get the place decorated enjoy the build-up and enjoy the day.

Junior Final: We hosted the senior hurling and junior championship finals in the Grove on Sunday. We hosted these games at short notice due to the unavailability of the Dunleer pitch so we would like to thank all who helped in any way on the day. All the Stewarts around the grounds both inside and outside, the ladies who helped upstairs, and especially Christy and Mull who had the pitch looking absolutely immaculate as usual. To all it is very much appreciated Thank You.
Finals: Both the intermediate and senior championship finals have been put back a week due to replays and other circumstances so the CTI Business Solutions IFC Final will now be played on Sunday October 8th and the Anchor Tours SFC Final will now be played on Sunday October 15th in The Gaelic Grounds Drogheda.
