Sheelan Shield: We played our neighbours St. Josephs last Friday night in the Sheelan Shield knockout competition and were narrowly beaten by two points after extra time. The boys played really well and could have maybe won in ordinary time, but they put in a good shift especially the younger lads on the team. It’s the start of the leagues this weekend and we play St. Fechins in the Grove on Saturday evening at 6.30pm, so come along and give the lads your support.

Disco: Dance through the decades with music from the 70’s/80’s/90’s in our clubrooms on Easter Sunday night. Come along and relive your youth, doors open from 9pm, admission €10, all proceeds in aid of underage development within the club.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 19th April at 8.00pm, jackpot €3,000 in 48 numbers.
Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 15th April in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Twice Shy and also on Easter Monday 17th April, music by Declan Aungier, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
Easter Camps: There are two Easter Camps in the county this year, one in Dowdallshill and the other in the Newtown Blues. Both are three day camps from 18th to 20th April from 10am to 2.00pm for boys and girls aged 6-12. The fee is €20 and there will be qualified coaches, camp includes fun games, skill challenge and mini leagues. Children should bring suitable gear for wet weather, football boots, gumshield, plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. Book online at http://louthcandg.eventbrite.com/ . Cύl Camp: Kellogg’s cύl camp promotion 2017, book online before midnight 4th June and get your child’s gear before the camp starts, gear will be distributed to clubs for collection. Online bookings at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.
Young Whistlers: Louth Coaching and Games are running a Young Whistlers aimed at 15/16 year olds with aspirations of becoming referees. The course is open to both hurling and football and will take place in Darver centre of Excellence on Saturday 22nd of April from 10am-12pm and from 6.30pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 26th attendance on both days is compulsory.
