The SOM family lost a great Club man during the week in Paddy Cheshire, RIP. Paddy was a true gentleman and a great clubman for many years, as part of the management team in 1992 for our first ever IFC, and was the point of contact for the Scheme workers at our grounds for many years. Great to see that his Son and Grandson are still part of the club. Dheis de go raibh a anam.
The Sean O’Mahonys Gaelic Football Club will be holding our 21st annual Golf Classic at Greenore Golf Club on Friday the 20th July 2018. The proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will help to fund both facilities and running costs for all our football teams. We currently have over 300 players and as this number is ever increasing, your support is both required and appreciated. The entry fee per team is €160, which includes green fees, refreshments, and the opportunity to win some excellent prizes. If you are not in a position to enter a team you, your business or your employer, may wish to sponsor a tee or green at a cost of €100 each. Please contact Martin O’Brien on 086-1554118 or Paddy McMahon on 087-2871121 at your earliest convenience to confirm a tee time.
