Louth GAA Announces New Four-Year Title Sponsorship Partnership with Protection & Prosperity Financial Services

Louth GAA is proud to announce a new four-year title sponsorship agreement with Protection & Prosperity Financial Services (PPFS). Commencing in January 2026, this partnership will see PPFS become a major title sponsor of Louth’s inter-county teams through a unique shared sponsorship model.

Under this innovative arrangement, PPFS will share title sponsorship rights with existing partner STATSports, with both organisations featuring prominently on all Louth GAA playing and training jerseys throughout the term. This progressive structure provides long-term certainty for Louth GAA while maximising brand exposure and impact for PPFS, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to commercial partnerships in Gaelic games.

For the first two years of the partnership (2026–2027), PPFS will serve as the front-of-jersey sponsor on all official Louth GAA training gear, supporting players across the senior, U20 and U17 inter-county squads. In the following two years (2028–2029), PPFS will take over as the lead front-of-jersey sponsor on Louth’s match-day playing jerseys, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growing involvement with Louth GAA.

PPFS, headquartered in Dundalk, is a locally rooted financial services firm specialising in pensions, investments, and financial planning solutions. The company, from its inception has developed a strong association with Louth GAA and the wider sporting and business communities in the county over the years. This new agreement deepens that relationship – adding a new dynamic to PPFS’s long-term commitment to supporting Gaelic games while strengthening collaboration between sport and local enterprise.

Paddy Keenan, PPFS Director and former Louth GAA player (All-Star), welcomed the announcement:

“Louth GAA has played a huge role in my life, both on and off the pitch, so this partnership is something I’m extremely proud of. At PPFS, we believe in backing ambition, performance and people, and this agreement allows us to support the next generation of Louth players in a meaningful and sustainable way. It’s a forward-thinking model that helps everyone involved, and we’re delighted to be part of it.”

Barry Oliver, Founding Director of PPFS, said the agreement reflects the company’s values and long-term vision:

“This sponsorship is about more than visibility — it’s about commitment. We see this new shared model as an innovative way to continue supporting GAA in County Louth while also building closer working relationships within the local business community. Louth GAA is a powerful connector across the county, and we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates both on and off the field.”

Sean McClean, Louth GAA Chairperson, commented on the importance of aligning with locally rooted organisations:

“PPFS have shown a genuine commitment to Louth GAA and to the wider community over a number of years. This agreement provides stability, innovation and long-term support for our inter-county structures, while recognising the value of partnerships built on shared ambition and trust.”

This new shared sponsorship model underlines Louth GAA’s commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and community collaboration. It ensures continued investment in player development and inter-county performance, while further strengthening the bonds between Louth GAA, its supporters, and local businesses like PPFS.
