Dundalk Young Irelands made it three from three in Group 3 of the DKIT Sport Junior Football Championship with a comfortable win over Dowdalshill on Friday evening at Cullen Autoparts Louth GAA Training Centre in Darver.
As expected they led from pillar to post against a Dowdalshill side who competed particularly well in the second half.
Jordan O’Donoghue, Derek Maguire and Liam McStravick all scored five points in total with Ruairi Kelly topping their charts with 1-3 as the full forward put his case out for a starting spot in the Quarter Final.
Dundalk Young Irelands are widely thought to be the competition favourites and will now have two weeks to turn their attention to the DKIT Sport JFC Quarter Final.
