This week’s changes

There is just one change to the Starting XV from last weekend’s narrow one-point defeat to Meath, with Peter Lynch dropping out and Kieran McArdle coming into the side. The reshuffle sees Emmett Carolan slot into the number six jersey, while young guns Tadhg McDonnell and Padraic Tinnelly retain their places after impressive performances at HQ.

Vice-Captain Tommy Durnin, who recovered in time to be a late addition to the bench last weekend, is once again named amongst the subs as he edges closer to a full return — a timely boost for manager Gavin Devlin. There is further good news with Leonard Gray returning to the matchday squad for the first time in 2026 following a spell on the sidelines.
Anthony Williams and Liam Jackson continue to work their way back from more medium-term injuries, while centre-half back Peter Lynch misses out after sustaining a season-ending knee injury in the first half against Meath, last week. All at Louth GAA are fully behind Peter in his recovery and we hope to see him back on the pitch, better than ever.
