Naomh Fionnbarra comfortably booked their place in the DKIT Sport Louth Junior Football Championship semi-finals with a convincing quarter-final victory over Naomh Malachi at the Cullen Autoparts Louth GAA Training Centre in Darver on Friday night.
The Togher side established control early on and never looked in serious danger of surrendering their advantage, with their attacking quality proving decisive throughout.
Niall McCreesh led the charge with an impressive 2-3, while Ciarán Markey contributed four points and Andrew O’Reilly added four more. Stephen O’Reilly and Ciarán Murphy also found the net as Fionnbarra maintained their momentum after the interval.
Naomh Malachi battled to the finish but could not match Fionnbarra’s attacking threat as the Togher men comfortably secured their semi-final berth.
