Gavin Devlin has named his panel for this weekend’s Championship opener against Wexford.

The Leinster Quarter Final takes place this Sunday, 19th April 2026 at Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow, with throw-in at 2:30pm.

There’s a welcome boost for the squad as Donal McKenny, Conor Grimes, Ryan Burns, Ciaran Downey, Craig Lennon and Padraic Tinnelly all return after missing the closing stages of our Division 2 League campaign.

Liam Jackson and Ciaran Byrne are included on the standby list following their absence since January’s O’Byrne Cup clash with Westmeath, while Tom Jackson (Ardee St Marys) is added to the panel to strengthen options.

Team in full:

  1. Niall McDonnell / 36 app.
  2. Daire Nally / 27 app.
  3. Dermot Campbell / 59 app.
  4. Donal McKenny / 68 app.
  5. Tadhg McDonnell / 11 app.
  6. Emmett Carolan / 49 app.
  7. Conall McKeever / 120 app.
  8. Dara McDonnell / 18 app.
  9. Conor Early / 67 app.
  10. Paul Mathews / 48 app.
  11. Sam Mulroy / 94 app. – CAPTAIN
  12. Conor Grimes / 101 app.
  13. Ciaran Keenan / 44 app.
  14. Conall McCaul / 23 app.
  15. Kieran McArdle / 18 app.
  16. Tiernan Markey / 3 app.
  17. Ryan Burns / 115 app.
  18. Sean Callaghan / 5 app.
  19. Ciaran Downey / 87 app.
  20. Tommy Durnin / 134 app.
  21. Leonard Gray / 54 app.
  22. James Maguire / 5 app.
  23. Craig Lennon / 49 app.
  24. Sean Reynolds / 10 app.
  25. Padraic Tinnelly / 5 app.
  26. Anthony Williams / 91 app.

Standby List:

  1. Ciaran Byrne / 45 app.
  2. Liam Jackson / 56 app.
  3. Tom Jackson / 28 app.
  4. Darragh Dorian / 1 app.

We face a strong Wexford side who earned promotion to Division 2 after an impressive league run, setting the stage for a cracking encounter this weekend.
