Wee County Goes Racing a Massive Success
All roads led to Fairyhouse on Saturday 12th of October as Louth GAA hosted “Wee County Goes Racing” our first race day in over 20 years.
The Event was a massive success with over 700 people attending from near and far. The feedback from those attending was overwhelmingly positive as it give Louth Gaels a day of fun and enjoyment to celebrate with fellow Louth supporters, Management and Players.
A special word of thanks to our race day sponsors Protection & Prosperity, PowerScreen New England, Morgan Fuels, Frank Lynch & Company and Anglo Printers, without the support of our sponsors the event would not be possible. Louth GAA would also like to thank the team at Fairyhouse who looked after every detail on the day.
Finally a word of appreciation to the Wee County Goes Racing organising committee who delivered this spectacular event, committee members: Damien McCann, Colm Marry, Pat Toner, Aidan Connor, Jim Byrne, Sean Geeney and Aoife Clare. We already have people enquiring about booking tables at the 2025 Wee County Goes racing, if it’s half as fun as the 2024 event it will surely be a not to be missed event.
