Naomh Fionnbarra 2-17 Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock 0-6
Naomh Fionnbarra eased to victory over Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock at Cullen Autoparts Louth GAA Training Centre in Darver on Sunday morning to continue their quest for the Christy Bellew Cup.
They had a wide variety of scorers with threats coming from all angles that the Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock men simply could not handle.
It was Niall McCreesh who opened the scoring in the opening minute only for James Feely to level minute later from a free. Although, that was as good as it got for the Dundalk men as the Barrs’ took control.

Cillian McQuillan on his way to landing a major for St Finbarrs
Cillian McQuillan hit 1-1 in quick succession, landing a major after sharp work from Chris McGlynn. Ciaran Markey added 0-2 before Stephen O’Reilly got the Togher’s men’ second major, courtesy of Niall McCreesh squaring the ball across goal for O’Reilly to tap home.
McQuillan, McCreesh, Sean Boyle, Padraig Butterly and McGlynn all added points before Feely landed a two-pointer just before the half time whistle. Half Time – Naomh Fionnbarra 2-9 Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock 0-3.
Ciaran Markey opened the scoring in the second half, Robert Murphy replied before Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock were reduced to 14 men after Paul Mallon was showing his marching orders.
Markey (0-3), Conor Osborne, Jack Murtagh, McGlynn and S O’Reilly all added points for Naomh Fionnbarra before the end with James Feely hitting over 0-2 for the opposition.
